** 95% of the so called guests party constantly. Loud music is played all hours of the day and night. No respect for neighbors at all. It had turned my life into a nightmare. I am sick over it. Airbnb does NOTHING about it at all. They hide so you can't contract them. Worst business unless you are a host. Legal action should be taken against the host and airbnb.

@Pamela1138 I think it’s against airbnb’s TOS to list the address of an airbnb property. I notice that you have a new profile. Did you create it to complain about this situation? Have you tried calling the police? Usually cities have noise ordinances in place for disturbances.
I would delete or edit it, I don't see those options.
@Pamela1138 You can report disturbances to Airbnb here: https://www.airbnb.com/neighbors
But it's typically their policy to not disclose what action (if any) they've taken on a complaint. You'll probably get faster results with the police.
The police have been called so many times on so many guests. Nothing changes. People rent airbnb to party, period. There is nobody to oversee the guests or their behavior. Ten to 30 minutes after the police leave the music is right back to the high decibel level.
@Pamela1138 Oh my. I just Googled noise ordinance in Punta Gorda and there appears to be people for or against it on either side. I wonder if that’s why the police turns a blind eye. I am so sorry for you and can’t imagine living in a neighborhood of constant loud anything, let alone loud music at night. Are any other neighbors complaining?
The police come and talk to them, it is only effective for a short while. I talked to the police today. and they told me to keep calling them. From what I got out of the conversation, after the third call, a ticket can be written for the host of the property. I always felt guilty calling them for such nonsense because I'm sure they have better things to do, but the officer told me they were there if the people did not cooperate. You would be for a noise ordinance if an airbnb was your neighbor. You know if it doesn't bother them, they don't care. I have been here 21 years in peace, a lovely place to live. That property has destroyed our peace of mind, our way of life and has exacerbated my health issues. Just not right.
