I am new to this and am trying to figure out how to convert a massive amount of views to actual bookings. I have a specialty house that was used in a popular tv show, but it seems people look at the listing without booking (3 actual bookings so far). I have my price higher than others due to added value of the tv show, made sure pictures are the best, adjusted the title several times, seemingly to no avail. I’m out of ideas of what to tweak. Perhaps it’s the area I’m in and normal? Should I simply be patient? I feel I’m missing something fundamental. Any pointers?
Thanks!
@Sam-And-Ben0, I see that you have made some changes based on the feedback and that you have two listings for the same house; one with the Breaking Bad Theme and one with a Luxury theme. This is an interesting experiment and I would be curious to see which "option" gets more views/bookings. Can you report back here in a couple of months and let us know? I would love to here about your experience/progress.

Your home is gorgeous. I see you have implemented many of the suggestions.
As a newer host myself I feel your pain. I've been open for one year and have had a steep learining curve. I continue to tweak my space and my listing based on reviews and feedback from guests and suggestions on these forums. I also get input from friends who frequently use Airbnb.
Besides the discount for the first few guests, I periodically have special discounts for bookings on specific dates (from suggestion posts by Airbnb). This has generated a few bookings.
Another option I implemented for a short time was a special 10% discount offer sent to potential guests when they viewed my listing.
Wishing you good luck!
