Customer Service unreachable Tuesday September 8th

Had a guest that was having payment and then identification issues completing reservation.  Guest and I spent all day trying to get through.  Just got sent through the phone system, asked if reservation was in next 72 hours, responded it was today and then got a link sent via text to help section of their website and phone call disconnected.

 

The website help didn't work because they want you to select a reservation and reservation hadn't been made yet.  Best I could do was get to a support person via chat who was completely useless.  Told me to have guest get in touch with them and guest said they hadn't responded to her last 20 messages.

 

lost majority of my day yesterday dealing with this....

The guest needed to contact Airbnb. It is nice if you provide some help, but at the end it is the guest having a issue, which can not be solved by you and wasting your time.

And yes, contacting Airbnb is a challenge these days !
