Daylight savings surprises hosts with an hour later check out time!

Was anyone caught off guard this morning to guests checking out late??      As soon as I began informing guests that it was past check out time, they responded that check out wasn't for another hour.  

Was this a bug ?? Or is airbnb trying to accommodate guests for another hour at the hosts expense AND failing to communicate their plan?   

Not only was this embarrassing for us as hosts, but could potentially discredit our reputation as superhosts.
