Deactivate email notifications

Hi,

At the moment I'm getting a notification each time through my Air Bnb App as soon as I get contacted which is great. But I also at the exakt same time a email sent to my Gmail saying I got a message through the app WHICH I OBVIOUSLY am aware about. 

How can I get tid of the emails to my Gmail account and only get push notifications to the app? My gmail is overwhelmed and its annoying the **bleep** out of me. Note that I havent checked any of the boxes under email notifications, all empty.
