Dealing with people who don't meet requirements

The system for unverified people is HORRIBLE!

First, guests should be alerted that they need to meet requirements before they are allowed to block off my calendar to the point that no one else can book!

Second, my calendar should not be blocked by anyone unless they want to and are eligible to book. First come first serve.

Third, I should not me held to any time restraint besides responding. I immediately respond, and then it is up to them to follow through... with my calander remaining open. I do not want to be forced to accept someone that is not following through with my requirements, AND, I do not want to decline someone that could be a potential good client that just cant figure out how to do it, or your system didn't verify it on time.

Fourth I do not want to get a ding while I am waiting for them or your system to complete. As long as I am attentive and respond, I have done my part.

This seems like an easy, reasonable, nobrainer fix!!

@Jamila9 These ar3 very good suggestions. I agree with you most of them. But this forum is for Airbnb hosts and guests to exchange ideas and help one another. Airbnb company may not read or take anything here seriously.

You can send your suggestions to Airbnb feedback page at the link below

Thank you, I appreciate that, Sorry if I didn’t express it more clearly. I Was really looking for help in how to deal with that And what other people did when They were put in that situation, and if there’s any other ideas on getting through to Airbnb staff to make changes besides the feedback line. 🙏🏽😉
