Has anyone else had an issue where Airbnb have told you that your payout settings need updating (even though you never changed them) and they have chosen the moment you are awaiting a payment from a host to do this? This meaning that your payout is delayed but not just by a day or so, but by up to five working days so could infect be 9 days and only once you have re-set your details. In some circumstances this could easily add up to around 12-13 days. Once you have been able to re-enter your details (which in my case took a couple of days) you have to wait up to five days for Airbnb to confirm the changes (which are not be changes at all, you just have to re-enter everything as it was before). In my case my payout from the hosts is going to be delayed at least 6 days. Airbnb make money by taking the guests payment before giving it to you as the host.So the longer the keep the money…. So if they do this to a lot of Airbnb hosts they make a lot of money by delaying paying all the money that is due to a lot of hosts.
