Demolished flat from guest

We have a problem with the guest. That demolished the apartment. They were very noisy every night until morning, the neighbors were starting call police.  It’ was guys from Niederlande, the smoke at the apartment the rest of cigarette are in the floor, food, masks, empty bottles and tins, broken things, garbage everywhere, smells terrible, we like to take the apartment from them, but they just gone. It was At our Prague charming apartment and the guys Jessei. I have communicated with him though what up and we told them every day no to make party’s.

Hi @Ingrid585 !

Sorry you had disrespectful guests.

Just checking that you know that this is a public forum, which anyone in the world can read? (You left your email address - I've asked the moderators to remove it, which is policy.)

You don't say what you mean by 'demolished' the flat? Did the guests cause ACTUAL damage, or were they just very disrespectful in not cleaning up their own rubbish?

This forum is not Customer Services. IF there was actual damage, you will need to submit a claim to Airbnb BEFORE the next guest checks in. Provide photos as proof of damage. You can claim for ACTUAL damage, things that will need to be mended or replaced, not cleaning or rubbish removal.

Please leave a bad review for the guests, including clicking the 'would not recommend' button, AND report them to Airbnb. It sounds like they were 1* guests in cleanliness, house rules and communication. And do write in the written review that they were noisy, disrespectful guests who left the place a mess and broke house rules, (assuming smoking is against your rules?) Fellow hosts will be grateful to you for warning them that these are bad guests.

You REPORT THEM TO AIRBNB by clicking the 'Report this profile' button at the bottom of their profile page.

An important tip: Always communicate with guests via the Airbnb messaging service, not Whatsapp, nor text. - That way, Airbnb have a record of what host & guest said to each other, which helps in cases of dispute.

Many hosts naively think Airbnb vets their guests in some way, and only sends hosts good guests. That is not true! Many hosts will tell you you need to be careful who you allow to rent your properties, and not assume  every guest will be well behaved! If you use Instant Book, you can adjust the booking settings, which may help....

@Ingrid585  I second all of Helen's advice here.

Your profile is not associated with an Airbnb listing, so I can't tell how much prior experience you have with hosting. But it does seem that you haven't adopted any measures to maintain control of your property. What you've experienced happens to hosts around the world just about every day, and if you don't get on the ball about security, this won't be the last time. If you're renting out a whole house listing, it's crucial that you have a way to detect scenarios like this quickly enough to remove the guests before it escalates to the point that police get called and your home gets trashed. Some hosts choose external cameras with live alerts, some use audio meters inside the home to detect excess noise, others keep it low-tech but have a neighbor or co-host on alert to call them if they notice trouble.
