Deposit and check-out issues

Does anyone have any tips for the check-out process and how you manage any missing items or damage issues? Surely guests are not asked to wait whilst you do this? and how long does Air BNB hold onto the deposit that is stated on our booking page?

Hi @Paul67,

 

If you are missing any items or if there is damage to your listing, you can put in a claim using the resolution center.  If you click on the link below, you will find a help guide on how to use the resolution center.  Airbnb does not put a hold on the guests credit card but they are authorized by the guest to charge that amount if the host makes a successful resolution request.
