ERROR MESSAGE: Email has already been taken.

I get this error message: Email has already been taken.

 

I understand the words but how do I find out why the address is 'already taken'?

@Nick2150 I wonder if you already have an Airbnb account using the email address that 'has been taken'.

If not I have no ideas.

@Nick2150  You are getting this message from Airbnb or from the email provider?

I am a co-host. I am getting that same message (that my email is already in use, but I’ve never received any email at that email address. . I’m retiring from my day job and want to change away from my employer’s sponsored email. And suggestions appreciated. 

Thanks folks - I have discovered that the email address is already in use on ABnB as a customer - however, what I am trying to do can be achieved through the co-host option.
