Enquiries for 2020 requested although I haven't done calendar or pricing?

I have had 2 requests for accommodation in 2020.  I have not done my calendar or pricing yet so have sent replies to that effect.  The enquirer put in October 2019 dates and wants to know if once those dates have passed if her enquiry will be deleted from my inbox?  Will it or not??    If it will be deleted she wants to know how to contact me??  Help please.

Her inquiry will show as "Not Possible" once the selected dates have passed or get booked. Only you have the power to delete her from your inbox. Use that power as you see fit (and check your archived messages if you regret it.)

If future calender dates are available to book, then pricing must be done. Otherwise do not have them available (the "booking window" setting can assist on that) for bookings. An inquiry can be removed from dashboard, messages in Inbox will offcourse stay there forever.

The guest already contacted you about her wish, so feel free to sent a special offer for the dates she likes to book.

@Jane273  I've been able to contact anyone who sent me an Inquiry by simply going back to that message stream. Didn't matter that the Inquiry had expired. But make sure that the guest has a way to receive notifications set in her account, so she'll know you've messaged her. You could make a note of the dates she wants and contact her once you have your calendar open that far. Many guests don't ever look in their Airbnb inbox if they don't have active bookings happening.

But I don't really understand the guest's question. Whether her Inquiry got deleted from your inbox or not, she can always contact you again by sending another Inquiry.
