@Ross75 - the idea of "event" is typically defined as a party being held in the location. Some times, this will also include any "pre-partying" on site. That's up to the host. If you plan to have the stag event at the location - like hiring in strippers, having a lot of alcohol, music, getting loud, doing any drugs - yes, this is an "event". You would do best to find a few locations that suit your needs and tell the host up-front what you intend to do inside the property. If all your partying will be in pubs and restaurants away from the rental, some hosts will be fine with hosting you for showering, sleeping and making breakfast. Be honest about your wants for the rental and read the listings carefully - most will give you a sense if hanging out all night in the flat drinking beer is cool or discouraged. Be prepared to provide the host with the names of all the guests so that they will know who and accurately how many are to be onsight.
