Expired Reservation

Expired Reservation

I have a reservation for someone who is arriving in a few days and yet it shows as expired. I have spoken with her so I know she is coming but I am afraid when she checks in, it won't charge her credit card and hence I won't be paid.

 

Not sure how to fix this.

I've never heard of a booking expiring but an inquiry usually expires after 24 hours.

Are you sure that the guest sent a booking request and not an inquiry?

If she has not booked and paid she is not coming.

Having a confirmed reservation means she has already paid in full (payment made to Airbnb). Airbnb holds onto the money and then issues the payout to host (minus host service fees) the day after check-in. 

 

Under "Listings" go to "Your Reservations" 

You can see "Upcoming reservations" as well as "All Reservations" (if you click on "View all reservation history" at the bottom of the list of your upcoming reservations.)

I had an inquiry expire and I failed to respond due to oversight. The dates are blocked because I failed to respond. She is still interested in those dates, how do I send a special offer for those same dates?

You can unblock the dates in your calender, so she can book.
