Extending the non-refundable 1 month to 6 months but leaving maybe at month 3?

hello

 

‘if i book a month its not refundable, if i extend this one month i booked into 6 months, but at month 3 i decide to leave, is the rest 3 month refundable?’

You always have to pay 30 nights from day of cancellation (or less, if normal end of reservation is within 30 nights), more:

 I think one month is non-refundable according to Airbnb policy if at least a month's notice is not given.  But, you can always  talk to your host and  tell them you are leaving 3 months early and see if you can work something out with them. With plenty of notice they may be agreeable, depends on their set-up and if they can easily rebook the dates - the later the notice the less likely that will be especially in peak season.
