First time Hosting. Loud guests partying everynight till 3am. Not following house rules.what to do?

We are hosting for the first time in the basement of our quiet suburban house. They have the entire unit to themselves. The guests are not following house rules and are partying everynight till 3am or later with invited friends. There guests are extremely loud when leaving between 2:30-3:30am. We are worried that they are disturbing the entire neighboorhood. In short they are the posterchild bad guests that gets shortstay/AirBnB banned in communities. We are worried about their review (our first one) despite them having an obviously great time as we have to come down upon them tonight to cut off the late night noise and partying. Any thoughts what to do? Can we count on any support from AirBnB? How to get these people banned from AirBnB? Thank you and  Help!

Your house rules say no parties and quiet after 10pm. You need to notify them through the app that they  are breaking rules they agreed to when booking and must stop. If they don’t, then you contact Airbnb and tell them the guests are breaking your rules and Air should cancel the reservation without penalty to you and you can kick them out.

I don’t see any rule you have about visitors. You may want to tighten this up.

Basically you need to take back control of your own house.

If they give you a terrible review, I think you could take your listing down and then create a new one, since you are new.

Of course you should give them a terrible review, so they don’t cause problems for other hosts. There is an Airbnb guest blacklist group on Facebook. You could join, and post the guests’ info.

Airbnb is not a proactive as they should be about removing bad guests from the platform.

If I were you, I’d worry more about the condition of my house and relationship with my neighbors than one bad review.

I’m having the same exact issues I swear your guest cousins must be at my home. LOL but not funny. How do you remove the guest from your home? What are the proper steps to take when canceling the guest and actually assured they leave? Do u have to call the police as a witness?
