The way you communicate in your initial request also makes a difference. Hosts who are wary of unreviewed guests are usually receptive to a well-written message that conveys the purpose of your visit and also demonstrates appreciation for the listing and awareness of the House Rules and check-in time.
There is a search filter available to display only listings that you can Instant Book without having to send a request, but if you don't earn the host's trust with a complete profile and good correspondence, they may still cancel your booking.
