First time host and how to block weekends for myself

I am having trouble finding how I can block weekends out for myself when staying at my property. Any guidance would be great. I just published our listing today and would like to block some weekends before it goes live.

Just block the days on the calender  by clicking on start date, drag to end date and choose "x" or "blocked", depending on type of calender you are using.

BTW "Publishing" means "go live !"

Got it, thank you. When I hit the publish button it said I had 24 hours before it goes live.
