Just starting up, we have a regular coffee maker at the property. I have a keurig at home and at work, so a regular coffee maker is now foreign to me! LOL. What is everyones experience about if a keurig or regular pot is preferred? Thanks!
Hi @Kati37
Welcome on board! Your place looks lovely 🙂
We offer both Nespresso machine and French press in Dublin and also added a pack of instant coffee due to a guest request. US guests tend to go for the machine coffee more while Europeans seem to make more use of the French press. I would suggest you go for the Keurig as that is what you are most familiar with. It might work out a little more expensive overall but your guests will likely appreciate it more.

@Kati37 Keurig creates such a terrible amount of plastic waste with their K-cups, not to mention the fact that they are very expensive; I would never consider using one. We have both, a regular coffee maker and a little Senseo-type, single serve machine(Hamilton-Beech, under $20.00 on Amazon) The single-serve uses compostable, single-serve coffee pads without the waste--plus, it make s great cup of coffee at less than half the cost of one cup of Keurig. 😉 The majority of our guests uses the conventional coffee maker for which they have to provide their own coffee, but those who use the single-serve absolutely love the taste. 🙂
As long as there is coffee, I don't really mind what type, but I do expect the coffee grounds provided to be decent (and not stale). Rather than stale coffee grinds and a coffee maker or french press, I'd rather drink instant. A keurig or nespresso is appreciated but I wouldn't expect to find these types of machines in budget-listings. Plus.....I'm not a fan because of the amount of waste from the plastic pods.
Neither. I purchased a Jura and have never been happier.
