Hi, I've just accepted my first guest booking! She's asking lots of questions which I thought would have answers already online, including how to get to my place and what is my house number. I am wondering whether it is standard procedure for a host to give their details to each guest individually, possibly weeks ahead of the booking, or if there are safety issues I should be considering?
Hi! You are not alone on this. Majority of the guest do not read the well thought-out instructions to make their stay easier and stress free. I usually send a reminder to the guest to review the itinerary before they arrive. If they ask again, I usually pop the question, "oh, was the itineary not descriptive enough, or are you having trouble accessing the itineary? Please let me know!" 🙂 This usually do the trick.
The most usual question i answer is "How close is the house to the Subway station?"
And my listing's title is "Two minutes walk from the subway station"
So i guess we do have to give the information out again and again, probably having a pasteable text prepared would be the best, as someone already stated.
