We are new with Airbnb and when Adding a listing, we failed to add the cleaning fee of $360. We did not notice this error until a guest booked with us. When reviewing through the Confirmed reservation, I noticed the cleaning fee was missing altogether.
I requested money in the amount of the cleaning fee to the guest and they instantly declined it. No response to the message I sent along with the request, nothing.
Do we have to eat the expense of the cleaning fee due to the guest not agreeing to pay?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

No, you have to eat the cleaning fee because it was your error that you failed to add it to your listing in the first place. It's really bad form to ask a guest for more money for something that was your responsibilty. If I was a guest, I'd refuse to pay it, too.
@Love-To-Stay-30A0 yes, as @Sarah977 says, you must honor the booking as confirmed-- it's a contract. Or you can cancel it, with penalties likely to outweigh the cost of eating the cleaning fee.
Thank you for your wisdom / constructive input.
