Hello Fellow Airbnb Hosts,
Just wanted to get your thoughts on a guest who has requested to change her travel dates as this is the first time I've experienced this!
Back in January, she booked a 4 night stay from Tuesday 23 to Saturday 27 April. Due to subsequent bookings, this left me one day between in my calendar. Note, I only accept bookings for two nights' as a minimum so not a lot I can do about this.
Today, the guest has requested to change her travel dates without explanation. Reducing 4 nights to 3 nights, from Tuesday 23 to 26 April. This would result in me losing one night's money and meaning I would have one day either side between bookings.
I am aware the guest is booked to attend a course (24 to 26 April) but ideally it would help me if she were to leave two nights either side. There's a good chance I might fill these dates, being almost fully booked this month. That said, this wouldn't work for her date-wise and I don't know what to do...
Accept and lose money, or decline and risk a bad review?
