Guest broke window during one night stay

I was hoping I could get some feed back of anyone else who has had damages with a guest. 

What is the process with air B and B to get it fixed the help center is not very helpful.

As you do not have a security deposit included on your listing, you can not claim the costs (via Airbnb) on such a deposit.

So general procedure is:

Set a security deposit going forward. Then you can claim via Airbnb ‘resolution centre’ . No money is taken by Airbnb, they just get guest to ‘agree’ if any damage a claim can be charged  on their credit card. And  document with clear images. Report any damage immediately the guest checks out.
