Guest changed the reservation after I was notified the pay out

Hello everyone, 

A guest booked for 5 nights from 20Jan to 25Jan, but the next day he said that he didn't like my place so he wanted to stay 2 nights only. I was ok with that and told him to make the change via airbnb. However he changed the reservation after I got the notification of the original payout for 5 nights. I recently received the payment for 5 nights. Have you been in this situation? Do you know if I have to do something to refund the guest or airbnb system can autonatically refund?

ABB will deduct it from future payment(s).

They normally state this on any communication they send you about refunds.

Hi, i have the same problem, my dashboard now says -$69, will that automatically go to my guests and come out of my future payouts from airbnb?

Airbnb will automactically deduct the amount from your futute payouts. I just got the message for payout which explains the deducted amount and the remaining amount from other reservation.
