Guest doesn’t know the period in the future

Hi everybody, I have a guest who wants to book my place but she doesn’t know the date with accuracy. What can I do to guarantee the space for her, without reservation?

There are always people out there who want you to block great periods of time for them while they sort out their schedules, @Paulo340 . I tell them that if the dates are still available when they are ready to book, I will be happy to host them.

You are setting yourself up to have no booking at all if you block the dates she thinks she wants. 

There are no guarantees for space without a reservation.

Thanks Lawrence! Sure, there is no garantee I told her, and I suggested to inquire again until getting closer. The dates is open anyway, my hope in looking for help is to know any tool inside Airbnb that could block the period in the future.

@Paulo340  You can block future dates by going into the calendar and clicking on the date range and then blocking them.
