Guest has been booked in on two separate nights but only wants one.

I am new to this. My first guest asked to change their booking to a later date. I did this but now both the original and new booking are showing as confirmed. How do I cancel the original booking without incurring a penalty fee. Thank you for your help.

Please tell to the guest to cancel the booking and go for with the new date booking. Your cancellation policy is flexible, Airbnb wont charge to the guest.

@Emma96 do NOT cancel any booking yourself, it will block out those dates for other guests and might incur a financial penalty. If necessary call Airbnb here but don't under any circumstances cancel a booking yourself.
