I have a guest booked in for tomorrow night. I just messaged her to ask what time she would be arriving, and she was surprised because her booking is for the following night. She sent me a screengrab and although it is in Chinese, I can see that she is correct: her dates (30th-31st Aug) don't match mine (29th-30th Aug).
Has this ever happened to anybody else? Is it a common bug? I've been hosting for several months and it's never happened before.
Luckily for her the 30th is one of the only days in August that I don't have a booking, so I've blocked it off for her. It seemed really unfair to make her cancel and rebook when it wasn't her fault. But I could and probably would have had a booking tonight, so is it reasonable for me to ask Airbnb for compensation for their error?
