Guest shortened stay, what do I need to do to open days back up???

Our guest just shortened their 110 day stay by 40 days. Do I need to wait til they officially change their reservation? Or can I open those days up on my end?

@Thomas2521  Days can't unblocked until the reservation is altered to a new check-out date and accepted, or cancelled. Until then, there is still an active reservation. 

They should automatically unblock once that is done.

The guest must use the "change" option on the reservering to shorten the reservation.

After it is processed, the dates will be available again for new bookings

(The change will be  processed automatically if there are more then 30 nghts left in the reservation, otherwise a request is sent to you to approve the change)
