Guest side fees very high for long reservation

Hi, I have a guest asking for 111 nights at total cost of $12,265 and the Airbnb guest fee is $1,153 which is near 9%.  I was expecting guest side fees for such a reservation to be at 6%.  Why are these fees so high?  I may lose the reservation because of this.

@Robert1125  I agree with you. For a long term booking, hosts are usually provide large discount normally more than 10-15%. Airbnb should charge a less percentage for long term booking as well.

@Robert1125   ABB charges a per night fee (same as a hotel would) unfortunately they do not discount this, and instead they try to promote hosts to provide discounts for long term stays (like 10%).  I agree, it's a bit much.
