A guest checked in today (having been booked by his daughter a few minutes earlier). She has booked him in for 7 nights, but said they are looking for somewhere for him to live permanently and may check out sooner. My refund policy is moderate. To be honest, I'm quite new to this and struggling to understand refund policies.
If he is moved out after a few days, do I need to refund the unused nights, even though I am unlikely to be able to rebook them?
Thanks for any advice.

The guest may apply to change the booking, @Janne5. In this case to shorten the stay. But you do not have to agree. If you do so, they will be refunded for the remaining 'unused' nights. It's up to you to decide.
Thank you @Marzena4. I didn't realise guests could amend their booking once they had checked in.

You're welcome. Happy hosting and no worries (a sigh...) 🙂
