Guests booked, paid but didnt make it

Hi - a guest booked and paid and the money has been transferred to my account.

However, they didnt arrive as the taxi didnt turn up to bring them to my house, they ended up camping.

I am not sure - am I meant to refund them? Would they be expecting a refund?

I dont mind either way but want to do what is right

@Delyth0 If they chose not to show up, you don't have to refund. I can't believe they wouldn't come due to a taxi (couldn't they just call for another taxi?).

Does sound very odd as an excuse, you did your side, you are entitled to be paid.
