Guests instant book same day with out confirmed payments.

Airbnb are allowing guests to book same day instant bookings without confriming guets  payments.  Guests fill out all the requirments hotsts  placed in order to do instant book. Guests then book the room whtout confrimng there paymetns. You recive a accpet or decline message / option without knowing if the guest has paid. When you hit accpet then you find out that the guests payments have not gone through.  Hosts now a waites all day for guests to show up and confrim payments. The guests  never does confrim paymetns and you have now losed a days booking for no reason beacuse there is no option to accept. the booking and leave dates open. .   

Instant book should only be aviable after  airbnb have  confrimed guests payments or give a 1 hr window for guests to fix ther payments issue. If they can not it should be cancleed by airbnb. 

If airbnb want to allow guests a 12 hour window on a same day instant book to help the guest then they should refund the hosts to give the guest the full day for wating and having there days blocked. Airbnb are responsible for the payments not hosts . Airbnb problem not hosts

Airbnb  are accomadating the guests at the hosts expense!

@Zon0  Even worse, some of these last minute guests have actually spent the night at the host's place, only for the host to be told by Airbnb afterwards that they were unable to collect payment and absolve themselves of all responsibility.

This is one reason I would never accept same-day bookings. Also same-day bookings seem to often end up being bad guests. They are often looking for a place for a hook-up, dealing drugs, using it for prostitution, etc.
