HOA sent a letter TO STOP DOING AIRBNB as it violates the HOA rules, can any one help?

I have been a superhost and hosting for 7 months.

Just recieved a letter from HOA TO STOP doing airban as it violates their rules.

I leve in a gated community which I pay $200 HOA MAINTENANCE fee every month.

Any one has any experience or ideas to deal with this kind of satuation.

I live in Tujunga CA in LA COUNTY.

@Qaid0 If your HOA prohibits subletting or STRs, then I'm not sure why you started hosting in the first place. If it's in the rules, I don't see what you can do about it.

However much you pay in maintenance fees is completely immaterial.

I think I’m going to have the same problem.  I’m looking into it as I’m trying to prepare for this kind of situation.

My HOA forbids whole house rentals, although there are several in the neighborhood, the HOA board are just not savvy enough to know this.  Airbnb in your own guest room is no different to having your friend or daughter stay and they can't do anything about it.
