Hamburg airbnb rules and regulations

Hi,

I am interested in renting an apartment for airbnb (only for business). But, I am not so sure due to the strict rules and regulations.

Is anyone running the airbnb business in Hamburg? If yes, can you please provide me with some details like-

1. How hard is it to get the permit from the government?

2. What did you have to do to get the permit? How long?

3. How is the business going now with the corona pandemic and all?

Also, feel free to share any tips/suggestions. 

It will be great if someone takes the time to answer here and/or just contact me directly via messaging or email **?
