Has anyone Not been paid for a past reservation?

Currently Airbnb owes me $826 for a reservation in December 2019. They usually pay me while the reservation is happening, but for some reason they didn’t do their job. Now I am being told by them that I will have to wait until they receive the payment from the guest. I feel this is so unfair and they should pay me and then figure it out with the guest since they didn’t collect it. I have been communicating with them for weeks and they seem to ignore me and brush me off. Has this happen to anyone else? Any recommendations?

Sit tight, it usually comes in the end, set a reminder in your phone for a month from now to pursue it, if it still has not arrived.
