Heloo everyone,
I have joined ABB in October 2017, since joining i haven't received any booking let alone any enquiring about my place. Could someone tell me where i am going wrong, any advise is welcomed. ABB asked me to reduce pricing which i don't no if it is right because by reducing price ABB is not looking at other aspects even though i want a reservation.
Kind regards,
Maatla
Hi Marie, thank you so much for the reply i thought i have switched it on but just to be sure if i did it right where can i see Instant Booking.
Hi Maatla,
i don't see why you shouldn't get any bookings. I think it looks nice and priced ok. Sometimes you have to go real low to start and slowly bring your price up with experience. The first booking is worth so much more than the income so go low and just get your first guest.
Just wrote these down real quick - my 2 cents anyway. Good luck!
Put up more pics - they say listings with more photos get most bookings.
Use the title to describe your place and use as many words as they allow. What is your place best for? How is it unique? Is the local game reserve a tourist spot? If so, say so in the title.
Could you take some photos with the curtains open? Natural light is better apparently.
Don't call it noise - call it music. Certain styles will be an attraction. What kind of music is it? Maybe say it doesn't bother you or it adds atmosphere... So for every negative, find the positive. I'd enjoy relaxing outside with a drink listening to traditional music if I was travelling around Botswana.
Tailor your listing towards your target audience. If it's travellers put more about the local area and maybe photos of the local restaurants or places of interest/cuisine etc.
Heloo Daisy...
I replied you yesterday, but looks like my reply didn't go through. Thank you so much for your more than 2cents advises,
there are really helpful and i am going to work on my listing looking at your advises. I am really thankful and i am going to call someone who is good with a camera to come take pictures.
Once again, thank you.
Kind regards,
Maatla
First use smart pricing. ..second ur listing is not showing any info like price ...I tried but can only see a pic...I think this is the main reason. ..plus u must remember that you are in botasawana not London
Check out my listing I was booked for two years in my first week. ..If you still get no booking keep reduce price just for a week put ur cleaning cooking cost higher to make up the loss..Once you get a reveiw people will feel better. ..Make sure you tel people it's like a hotel not a slum. ...
Hello @Maatla0,
Welcome to the Community Center!
It's great to see that the other members have also shared some tips. I found a couple of topics of which I thought could be handy for you. Here are a couple of very helpful guides created by experienced Airbnb hosts. Many users find 'A Host's guide to Airbnb' and '25 tips to get booked' very useful. There are a couple of ideas that you could implement like the hosts @Jackson Brothers did on this topic.
I hope this helps!
