Just wondering what other hosts do in cases of bad weather. We are currently experiencing a heatwave and today is a total fire ban day - advice is for residents in bushfire-prone rural areas to leave the area. Do you have policies regarding bookings and cancellations for weather conditions? Do penalties apply if hosts cancel?
If the advice is to leave, I would not accept guests and also give a total refund. But call airbnb and get them to cancel, no penalties this way. Do not cancel yourself.
It is a hot and windy day today in Vic but I looked at the incident map on CFA and could not see warnings for your area?
