I do not have a problem if they cancel a couple of months in advance. Will Airbnb penalize them? They are good guests we have had in the past and would like to help them.
All bookings of 28 nights or more are automatically transfered to the long term policy. If they cancel within 30 days, no refund. You can of course choose to refund if you wish to.

Thank you
There are no "penalties" for guests at Airbnb.
It is all about getting a partial or full refund when guests cancels a reservation.
Which outcome is depending on your cancellation policy.
If your guests book 51 nights, the "long term stay" cancellation policy will automatically apply.
Then the guest will NOT be refunded the firsts month and the Airbnb service fee when they cancel in advance. (But you can decide to refund the first month manually)

Hi Emiel,
What is the fee for long term cancellation? It must be a certain %.
Thanks
