Host Referral Credit

A friend suggested I try Hosting on Airbnb, which I am currently doing. So far everything is going great! I noticed after I signed up that Airbnb gives credit to those who refer other hosts. I would really love it if my friend received credit for referring me! 

How can I get him the credit he deserves?

He tried the referral option and now I have a "new listing" started in my account. I dont know how to get rid of that either.

unfortunately he needed to claim the credit before you created your listing.

perphaps you could call them and plead your case, you never know...
