Host dishonesty on airbnb page

Hello! First post on airbnb \(^^)/

Found a room that I like and insta booked it.

Reserved it with payment as well. However the host replied saying that he realized that he did not have the room, and suggested me to another one under his ownership, which he claims to be 'better'.

I smell something fishy here, and I would like to cancel my reservation. Will there be any disadvantages for me, and what should I do if the host rejects my refund request?
