Host has great reviews but not responding to me

Hello. My first ABB this weekend. I've asked my host some questions about checkin and the neighborhood as I won't have internet access once I leave my city. I am uncomfortable not receiving replies to my email. I called my host on the phone but she was brushed me off as she was busy but still hasn't replied to my emails. 

 

Her many reviews are all great. I did notice that she is no longer accepting bookings after this month so maybe she's fed up?

 

What would you do? Thanks.

Not very professional of her, for sure. Sometimes both hosts and guests have things going on in their lives that we have no idea of, that make it hard for them to respond in timely fashion. She obviously knows you are coming. I'd just show up at the arranged check-in time and hopefully all will be fine.

You can also contact airbnb to tell them that the host is not responding to your messages and that when you phoned her, she brushed you off. They will then usually attempt to contact the host on your behalf, so I hear.
