Host wants people to view the room even though I'm here and fully paid

Hey there,

My host rented this room out to me without ever telling me that he intends to have people view this room, even though I'm still here. I've just had a women at the door with someone with the intention to view the room. The host never informed me of this before booking. I am really annoyed that the host has the balls to try this. I have sent them a message asking them to not send any more people to view the room while I am here. If it happens again, What are my options?

@David2274 you can cancel your reservation if you are uncomfortable, contact Airbnb and probably you will get the unused nights refunded.

Im starting to get uncomfortable cause the owner just seems to ignore simple requests I make and acts like I am not even staying in the apartment. He offered a refund and to let me stay here but in return people can come and view the apartment. Maddening!

Hello @David2274 

The host is behaving outrageously. Personally I would call Airbnb have them cancel and provide you with a refund plus 10% credit to find somewhere else.

Make sure you leave an honest review.

I was shocked at first and just asked him to stop doing that and let me stay here in peace. He agreed to it, but not before asking me if I was ok with getting a refund, stay here till check-out but let people come and view the room throughout the rest of my stay. But I can't trust him. I am getting in touch with Airbnb to see what can be done.

Are you sure your Host actually knows about this?

Yes, he acknowledged it in a conversation with me.  Even asked me if I was ok letting people come and view the room while I stayed here.
