it is possible, I've heard few hosts complain about glitches with prices. Or, he just forgot to update his calendar.
He should send you an alteration request and you can accept it or decline it. If you decline it then:
- he has a choice to cancel the reservation (he will be penalized with fees , blocked calendar etc...) or to host you for the price you booked
- you can go to Puhket and risk to find the door closed .
- the best would be to contact Aribnb (you should have ABB phone no on your booking confirmation) and explain the situation. They will probably cancel the reservation on your host behalf and you will get your money back or be able to use it as a credit for another booking
