Hosting experiances in Istanbul and Turkey

Hello,

I want to host several experiances in Turkey, mainly in Istanbul. But I see that there is no place from Turkey yet on Airbnb to offer any experiances. Can I start being a host for the experiances in Turkey or when Airbnb is going to allow this ?

It is great to hear you want to host an Experience. Yes, as you mention, Experiences haven't been launched in Turkey yet, but in the mean time the best thing to do it to take a look at the Airbnb Experiences page. If you click on 'Get Started' you will see more information there.

Just out of interest what kind of Experience are you looking to host? 🙂

Dear Lizzie, Thanks for your kind reply. I am also a professional travel agent and a member of a team providing unique services to our guests in Istanbul and at different parts of Turkey.

For instance, we arrange boat ride on Bosphorus with a private motor-yacht during which they sail through the shores of Europe and Asia. We also arrange meal or wine service on boat, so that they may celebrate their wedding anniversary. 

We also arrange street food trip in Istanbul at exotic markets and offer them to taste the local foods. The tour starts with centruies old Spice Market (Egpytian Bazaa) and goes through the local fish and vegatable market in Kadikoy on the Asian side.

We also offer hot air balloon experiance over the fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, Byzantine and Ottoman History and Architecture walking trips in Istanbul and some other things as well. 

I believe those all will be very attractive for the people visiting Turkey..

İ would like to become a host in Airbnb, and am looking for the legel way of being host rules of İstanbul, Turkey

İ have recnetly met with two accountants to understand the regulation of İstanbul unfortunately both of them said i can not rent my aparments daily.

To rent out legaly you need to contact the police and many goverment, they can guide you. I write in a police site every time i have people at my place, and i pay taxes, its getting realy hard so i am thinking og quiting after this year sadly.
