Hosting question: i own one week at resort but want to sell it in two separate parts

Hi, I'm new at hosting so any help would be great and appreciated. I own one week at a resort in Napa with a minimum of two night stay requirement to book my listing. If my client books for two nights, how does the client "check out" (meaning close any open charges and return keys, etc) if the resort has the room booked for a week through me? The transition between one guest "Checking Out" and one guest "Checking In" during my owned week is what is unclear to me at this point. Thanks in advance for any help.

First, you must check to make sure you can host AirBnB there. If you can, does the facility take care of keys, charges and cleaning on your behalf? If so, maybe they can do it midweek for you for a fee. If not, you may have to do a 1 week minimum. Beware though, if you are not going to meet the guests and they have full access to the property and there is damage or a complaint you will have to work that all out.

Hi @Charles217

IMO Timeshare property is not suitable for airbnb.

What are the legal/financial implications if you have guests that trash the place and the owner of the next week is sat outside waiting to use the place.
