Scam alert! How can I make sure a listing is real?

This will be my first time using Airbnb so I'm a bit weary about listings being fake.

What can I do to make sure a listing is real and not a scam?

What should I be looking out for?

@Natasia4  Looks legit: it's listed on the Airbnb platform, your host is a Superhost (a recent one but still) and the listing itself has 12 reviews, with no red flags.

it's weird that every photo is taken with the blinds drawn. but i'm sure it's fine, and the reviews are good. If you're still worried, ask the host they have an insta account for their listing that you could follow....

Can someone tell me is this seems legit…No reviews.  Couldn’t tell much from the owners profile..no other properties?  And I did reserve but did not pay the full amount…I still got the address and when I searched it, it showed that the property had just been sold a month ago.  Some of the pictures look like pictures from the listing to sell the home.  Please help. https://abnb.me/e/LsADsqYofpb
