How do I change my listing from 1 Bd to 2 Bd when I leave town?

Hi guys,
Brand new host, and have a question. Most of the time I am in town and my listing is a 1Bd/1Ba, but about 3 times a month I leave town for a while. When I am planning on being out of town I would like to toggle my listing to a 2bd/2ba and adjust the list price. Is it possible to do this under 1 listing or do I have to make 2 listing and make sure the calenders don't overlap?

Hi Joe,
You have to make a separate listing for the 2 bedroom. You are also right, you need to adjust the calendars so you don't double book! We actually have 4 listings for our one house ( different configurations). I use the multi calendar fairly regularly to double check that I haven't booked incorrectly. It's a good visual. Also, I'm in the habit of always checking the calendars before I accept a booking.

Yes, this is what I ended up doing. I kept it all straight on Google calender, but there may be some better functionality on Airbnb that I am unaware of. I ended up not booking the one bedroom very often anyway, and only renting the place when I was out of town. Good luck!
