How do I extend the length of guests stay

Hi 

 

I had instant book on and hadnt been able to update my availability settings before person booked they have booked  one night on a cheap price normally my settings woudl be for two nights minimum 

what can i do ? dont want to cancel as afraid penalised

Accept the booking this time, and then really stay on top of your calendar, prices and other settings going forward, @Sally50, especially when you have IB on. Take it as a lesson learned. It wasn't the guest's fault. 

Don't cancel for sure. You don't want those penalties.

I agree with @Lawrene0. You've a live listing on the site. In that sense you're a professional advertising a service to customers.

This guest made a good faith booking under the conditions you had advertised.

Be professional and acccept the booking.

 

The money and the convience to you of instant book come with responsibilities.

Keep your listing's conditions up to date because when it's live on the site real people with real expecations and real holiday plans are involved.
