How do I get my guest?

How do I get my guest?

Hi everyone,

I am new here and as a host for more than one month, still no guest at all. I checked my status, one or two view my list, but no one is interested in my room. Is it not a good season for the guest? How can I do to let more people view my list? Do I need send my links to all the websites in the world? Which website can allow me to promote my room? Any advise I will appriate.

Thanks.

Your pictures and lack of proper English grammar and spelling are hurting you.

1. Work on making the place more warm. You have plants in the living room, add some to the bedroom. A floor plant in a corner will change the room drastically.

2. Retake the pictures of the space.

Your opening picture needs to be more warm. Remove the extension cords and heater. Add a picture to the wall above the bed. Remove the bowl and cups from the table, add a clock instead. Maybe a colorful throw rug on the floor to detract from all the red and yellow tones.

Not sure what is going on with the big black cloth in picture #2. If it is covering something than add curtains to all the windows and hang the same curtain here to make it look like another window. Take the Simpsons poster down and replace it with a framed picture. You can usually get nice framed paintings at a thrift store for cheap. Make sure the new picture is properly centered on the wall.

Remove the trash cans from the kitchen when you take that picture.

3. Put a fresh roll of toilet paper in the bathroom and hang a curtain over the window for privacy.

4. Remove the hose from beside the front door. Remove the empty pot to the right of the porch, or better yet, put a nice plant in it.

5. Have someone who is a native English speaker proof read your listing and re-write it (including your photo captions).

6. Change your check-out time from 12 AM to 12 PM (noon).

7. Check your rate. You probably need to lower your $45 charge to $35 to get some guests and good reviews. You can raise your rates later. How does $45 compare to what your competition is charging around you?
