This has been an issue a few times:
I make a change to the booking (always a price reduction). On the website, it's at the top of your messages or if you click a link in your email it's directly there. However, my guests simply cannot find it on the Airbnb App.
So where exactly do Airbnb hide this?
Unfortunately the app does not have this functionality right now so the alteration request needs to be made and accepted using the Airbnb website on a computer or laptop. Some users are successful using the browser of their device to accept the request so you could see if the guest can accept the request this way.

Yeah, it's funny how the App is missing some important functionality precisely for travellers on the move but has a whole load of stuff that is basically unnecessary when on the move. What on earth is up with having a stats icon on the bottom but not the messages icon? It's like the designers of the app don't actually use it themselves while travelling.
