How soon can my listing be booked after being created?

Is there a time period before my listing is actually active.  I just created listing today and customer that I sent link to can’t book or send me a message.

Hi @Janet963 

It can take up to 24 hours for the listing to become visible within the Airbnb website. 

Your place seems great and I was able to input dates. 

When i first started, my first booking came within hours but this was during other times. 

Good luck- also maybe look around the community for hints etc as to make your listing stand out etc.
